2 credits This seminar provides an opportunity for students, especially arts and science transfer majors, to learn soft skills through project-based experiential learning. Students work in teams to solve a real-world problem in the surrounding community. The skills emphasized include collaboration, critical thinking, problem-solving, and innovation. The instructor provides mentorship with the goal of personal and academic development. The repeatability of the course establishes a foundation for cohort-building and a greater sense of belonging.
