NET585 — Cloud and Storage Foundations
3 credits In this course, students are introduced to the fundamentals of cloud computing, its primary characteristics, deployment models, service models, and providers. Students are presented with how to use various technologies and tools for cloud computing, such as virtualization, networking, storage, security, automation, and monitoring. Students are provided hands-on experience with popular cloud platforms such as Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, Microsoft Office365 and Google Cloud Platform. Ultimately, students develop the knowledge and skills to migrate, deploy, test, optimize, troubleshoot, and manage cloud-based solutions for various scenarios.
