FLS231 — Intermediate Spanish I

3 credits This course builds upon skills from Elementary Spanish I and II, with further study of the Spanish language and diverse cultures of the Spanish-speaking world. A secondary focus is on expanding reading and writing skills. Students continue to refine their use of practical, applicable, and conversational Spanish, achieving an Intermediate Low/Mid proficiency level of the ACTFL Proficiency Guidelines and 5 C’s of the World-Readiness Standards.
