MLT 255 — CLINICAL MICROBIOLOGY CREDITS:
This course provides an introduction to the classification, morphology, identification, and sensitivity testing of microorganisms. More technical aspects of clinical microbiology including differential staining and testing for the detection, identification, and disease correlation of bacteria, parasites, and fungus will also be covered. PREREQUISITES: MATH 101, HC 114, HC 213, PH 103, PH 116, PH 165, CHEM 106, CHEM 106L, and MLT 205. GRADE REQUIREMENT : A MINIMUM GRADE OF C IS REQUIRED TO PASS THIS COURSE AND MEET PROGRAM REQUIREMENTS.
