This program is designed for students with a goal of advancing their nursing career which includes opportunities in hospital, long-term care, clinic, assisted living, and other settings. This program will allow individuals to expand on the technical and communication skills obtained through their LPN licensure. Students will be trained in the areas of science and technology, advanced nursing skills, problem-solving, and critical thinking, professionalism, and communication, as it relates to nursing. All students successfully completing the Registered Nurse program will earn an AAS degree in Registered Nursing and will be prepared to take the licensure exam to enter the workforce as registered nurses (RNs).
