DEN 108 — CHAIRSIDE DENTAL ASSISTING LAB I CREDITS:
This course provides practical application and hands-on learning in basic dental assisting skills, including team and patient positioning, operatory light adjustment, instrument identification and transfer, preparation of dental anesthetic, HVE and air/water use with an emphasis on four handed restorative dentistry, Pediatric and Orthodontic specialties. Assembly of instrumentation for restorative and specialties procedures, placement of rubber dams, handpiece identification, preparation, and bur and tooth identification. COREQUISITE: DEN 105, DEN 113, DEN 122.
