FIRE 2370 - Public Fire and Life Safety Education FIRE 2370 - Public Fire and Life Safety Education 3 credit(s) This course is designed to provide the public and/or fire service educator with the knowledge and skills needed to successfully perform as a fire and life safety educator as addressed in NFPA 1035. The topics include fire behavior, community assessment, injury prevention and juvenile fire-setting. The student will also develop presentation skills and learn how to formulate public education programs. An overview of the educator, manager, and administrator role will be presented. As needed.
