HSC 037 - U.S. History II HSC 037 - U.S. History II -5 LEC hours per week: 5 This is a survey course covering the history and culture of the United States from 1898 to the present. An emphasis is placed on the establishment of our democratic form of government based on responsibilities of good citizenship, what happened in the United States these last 100+ years and to appreciate how 20th century Americans lived and experienced the great events.
