ISCI 1030 - ^Science, Society and Sustainability ISCI 1030 - ^Science, Society and Sustainability This course is a survey of scientific methods and theories that can be used to understand and evaluate: basic earth sciences, biological diversity and survival on this planet, environmental problems associated with human habitation, and the impact of human social policies on the planetary biosphere. Students will be challenged to address current environmental problems scientifically, and then consider possible solutions.
