SUR 195 - Topics in Surgical Technology [ Course Outline ] SUR 195 - Topics in Surgical Technology Course Type: Not Intended for Transfer Description: Provides an opportunity to explore topical areas of interest to or needed by students. Introduces the student to surgical procedures in the specialties of general, gynecological, and orthopedic surgery. Pathophysiology, surgical anatomy, instrumentation, and procedural steps are discussed and combined with a consistent method of reinforcement at the clinical site. Lecture 2 hours per week.
