NUR 27 - Nurse Aide I [ Course Outline ] NUR 27 - Nurse Aide I Course Type: Not Intended for Transfer Description: Teaches care of older patients with emphasis on the social, emotional, and spiritual needs. Covers procedures; communication and interpersonal relations; observation, charting and reporting; safety and infection control; anatomy and physiology; personal care, nutrition and patient feeding; death and dying. May include laboratory or clinical hours. Lecture 3 hours. Laboratory 3 hours. Total 6 hours per week.
