PNG 210 - Patient-Centered Care II PNG 210 - Patient-Centered Care II (4 credits) Provides an overview of identified general concepts to implement patient-centered care. Introduces concepts of glucose regulation, fluid and electrolyte balance, perfusion, sensory perception, thermo-regulation, tissue integrity, and patient education. Expands knowledge of gas exchange and mobility. Focuses on the role of the practical nurse in health promotion and maintenance. Provides an opportunity for students in the lab to learn the skills needed to provide quality, evidence-based care in the clinical setting. An additional career and technical education course specific fee of $50.00 per credit hour applies to this course. The price is discounted 50% to $25.00 per credit hour for the 2026-27 academic year only. Prerequisite(s): PNG 120 , PNG 125 Corequisite(s): PNG 215 Lecture: 3 hours Lab: 3 hours Total: 6 hours per week
