FST 123 - Structural Firefighter I FST 123 - Structural Firefighter I (3 credits) Prepares students for Virginia Firefighter I and II certification. Focuses on all aspects of firefighting, fire protection, prevention, health, safety, rescue and hazard mitigation as defined by the Virginia Department of Fire Programs curriculum for Firefighter I and II as outlined by the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA). Part I of II. Corequisite(s): FST 124 or departmental approval Lecture: 2 hours Lab: 3 hours Total: 5 hours per week
