ELE 237 - Human Machine Interface Systems ELE 237 - Human Machine Interface Systems (2 credits) Introduces operation of human machine interface devices (HMI), hardware configuration, software programming and programmable logic controller network configuration of HMI devices. Offers troubleshooting practices concerning HMI devices used in industrial machine applications. An additional career and technical education course specific fee of $25.00 per credit hour applies to this course. The price is discounted 50% to $12.50 per credit hour for the 2026-27 academic year only. Prerequisite(s): ELE 233 or equivalent Lecture: 1 hour Lab: 2 hours Total: 3 hours per week
