DNH 244 - Dental Hygiene IV DNH 244 - Dental Hygiene IV (5 credits) Introduces advanced skills and the dental hygienist’s role in dental specialties. Includes supervised clinical practice in the dental hygiene clinic and/or off-campus clinical rotations at various community facilities. Emphasizes treatment of clients demonstrating periodontal involvement, stressing application and correlation of knowledge and skills from previous semesters. An additional career and technical education course specific fee of $50.00 per credit hour applies to this course. The price is discounted 50% to $25.00 per credit hour for the 2026-27 academic year only. Lecture: 1 Lab: 12 clinic hours Total: 13 hours per week
