DNH 141 - Dental Hygiene I DNH 141 - Dental Hygiene I (5 credits) Introduces clinical knowledge and skills for the performance of dental hygiene services; basic skill components, lab manikins and client practice. Pre-clinical experience in the on-campus supervised clinic. Clinical and laboratory application of introductory skills essential to rendering oral health services to clients with emphasis on basic dental hygiene instrumentation. An additional career and technical education course specific fee of $50.00 per credit hour applies to this course. The price is discounted 50% to $25.00 per credit hour for the 2026-27 academic year only. Lecture: 3 hours Lab: 6 clinic hours Total: 9 hours per week
