CAD 241 - Parametric Solid Modeling I CAD 241 - Parametric Solid Modeling I (4 credits) Focuses on teaching students the design of parts by parametric solid modeling. Topics covered will include, but are not limited to, sketch profiles; geometric and dimensional constraints; 3-D features; model generation by extrusion, revolution and sweep; and the creation of 2-D drawing views that include sections, details and auxiliary. Part I of II. (Credit will not be awarded for CAD 241 and DRF 241.) An additional career and technical education course specific fee of $25.00 per credit hour applies to this course. The price is discounted 50% to $12.50 per credit hour for the 2026-27 academic year only. Lecture: 3 hours Lab: 2 hours Total: 5 hours per week
