Barber The Class A Barber program is a nine-month (30 credit hour) certificate of completion program (1000 clock hours). The focus of this program is hair care, nail care and skin care. A Class A Barber specializes in the cutting of hair using clipper, shear, razor, and chemical services such as relaxers, texturizers, perms, and color. A business management course is taught to help with the development of their practice. Courses are available at the Century City Center. Upon successful completion of the program, graduates will be eligible to take the examination prescribed by the State Licensing agency to become a Licensed Class A Barber.
