MATH 0332 — Developing Contemporary Math Skills
The course supports students in developing skills, strategies, and reasoning needed to succeed in mathematics, including communication and appropriate use of technology. Topics include the study of numeracy and the real number system; algebraic concepts, notation, and reasoning; quantitative relationship; mathematical models; and problem solving. Successful completion will satisfy Texas Success Initiative Math Requirements for Non-Algebra math courses ( or ). A study of the basic concepts necessary for success in to include numeracy, proportional reasoning, probabilistic reasoning, quantitative reasoning in personal finance, algebraic competence, reasoning, modeling and study skills. This course is not applicable toward a degree. Special Fee: $50.00
