PHSO V01 — Human Physiology
This course is a survey of the physiological principles, function, integration, and homeostasis of the human body at the cellular, tissue, organ, organ system, and organism level. Lecture explores the physiology of the integumentary system, bone, muscle tissue, nervous system, sensory organs, cardiovascular system, lymphatic and immune systems, respiratory system, urinary system, digestive system, endocrine system, and reproductive system. Laboratory experiments emphasize an understanding of physiological principles and introduce students to common techniques and instruments used in the discipline.
