Examines the ancient world and ancient civilizations, classical antiquity, the early nation-states in the various areas around the globe, world religions emergence and development, developments through the first millennium common era, the European Renaissance, intersection and connection between global regions including the early age of Exploration, and other topics that explore the interactions among various civilization regions.
