TSL 4100 — ESOL: CURRICULUM, METHODS, AND ASSESSMENT
This course provides Florida Educator Accomplished Practices-aligned knowledge and skills for teachers and prospective teachers to understand linguistic and cultural effects on ELL participation and performance in the elementary classroom. Students will create appropriate and challenging curriculum content, materials, and assessments to foster meaningful and appropriate learning environments for native English speakers and English language learners. This course addresses ESOL Competencies 3, 4 and 5 and includes a 15-hour field experience.
