NUR 2440C — ATN-CONCEPTS OF MATERNAL CHILD HEALTH

Degree Program Corequisite: NUR 1100C , NUR 2931C This course introduces the concepts within the three domains of the health care recipient, health and illness, and professional nursing and health care. Emphasis is placed on the concepts within each domain, including health promotion, adherence, family dynamics, reproduction, development, interpersonal violence, infection, and sexuality. Upon completion, students will provide safe nursing care incorporating the concepts identified in this course. A grade of satisfactory in the clinical/lab is required. This course must be completed with a grade of C or better for program progression.
