MAE 3310 — TEACHING MATHEMATICS I
This course provides Florida Educator Accomplished Practices-aligned knowledge and skills for prospective teachers and teachers in Elementary Education K-6 mathematics. It focuses on the strands in the Florida Standards for Mathematics: number sense and operations, algebraic reasoning, measurement, fractions, geometric reasoning, and data analysis and probability. This course addresses elementary education pedagogical content knowledge for teaching the Florida Standards for math and the Elementary Education K-6 Florida Teacher Certification Examination competencies in math.
