ART 1152C — METAL CASTING
This is an introduction to metal casting for anyone interested in learning the lost wax casting process as it relates to sculptural forms. Direct work in wax for unique castings as well as mold making for multiples will be explored. Investing wax pieces, use of the furnace for casting, chasing, sandblasting and final finishing are demonstrated.
