WLD 252 — Gas Tungsten Arc Weld III
Develops knowledge and manipulative skills using the Gas Tungsten Arc Welding process on mild steel, stainless steel and aluminum. This class will cover API 1104 and ASME Section IX Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code requirements and joint configurations. Weld manipulation and techniques will cover all positions on both pipe and plate applications. This is an outcome based course utilizing the lecture/lab format. The course includes classroom discussions, video and lab demonstrations in the development of technical skills.
