MUS 161 — Jazz Improvisation
The objective of this course is to teach the participant how to improvise or improve the existing improvisational skill. Presentations and discussions will cover a variety of improvisational styles including jazz, rock, country, and classical. Class time will include listening, observing, and performing. Written assignments will consist of transcriptions
