HORT 440H3 — Honors Plant Propagation

Principles of plant propagation using seeds, cuttings, grafting, budding, layering, and tissue culture. The physiological basis of propagation is described. Knowledge of plant growth and physiology is needed. Lecture 2 hours, laboratory 2 hours per week. Corequisite: Lab component. Prerequisite: HORT 20003 and honors standing. (Typically offered: Spring) This course is equivalent to HORT 44003 .
