HIST 57803 — History of Mexico
This course examines the history of Mexico from pre-Columbian to modern times. Emphasis will be placed on the turbulent nineteenth century and the Mexican Revolution. Themes covered include the rise of the Aztec Empire, colonial legacies, national identities, popular culture, and relations with the United States. Graduate degree credit will not be given for both HIST 47803 and HIST 57803 . (Typically offered: Fall)
