Focuses on how information contained in financial statements can be used in financial decision-making; in particular, to assess financial performance, evaluate credit and default risk, forecast future funds needs, weigh the risk-reward of debt vs. equity financing, and develop estimates of intrinsic value using relative valuation metrics and discounted cash flow methods.
