CVEG 59303 — Advanced Timber Design
Expanding upon learning objectives from Timber Design I, this course will focus more in-depth on the topics of whole building design. Design loads will be developed per ASCE 7-22 procedures with emphasis on complete lateral design for wind and seismic loading. Design, selection, and detailing for both gravity and lateral loading connections will be completed. Fire rating code compliance and detailing will also be covered. Prerequisite: CVEG 59203 .
