CSCE 55303 — Advanced Information Retrieval

Study of the architecture, implementation, and evaluation of current information retrieval systems. Students will apply their knowledge of programming and data structures to implement a large system with an emphasis on efficiency and scalability. They will study current research in the field and implement individual or group projects on advanced topics. Prerequisite: Computer Science Computer Engineering (CSCE) graduate standing.
