CIED 301H3 — Honors Development and Learning Theories in the K-6 Classroom

This course allows students to cultivate an understanding of how elementary students develop, process information, and learn; studies educational applications pertaining to theories of development, intelligence, and thinking dispositions. Students study various learning theories, their implications for instruction, and their role in the K-6 classroom. Field experience required. Prerequisite: CHEDBS or ELELBS major and honors. (Typically offered: Fall and Spring) This course is equivalent to CIED 30103 .
