Application of chemical engineering principles to the study of safety, health, and loss prevention. Fires and explosions, hygiene, toxicology, hazard identification, and risk assessment in the chemical process industries. Corequisite: Drill component. Prerequisite: Honors standing, CHEG 33203 and CHEG 31404 both with a C or above. (Typically offered: Fall) This course is equivalent to CHEG 48103 .
