Introductory course to the broad field of advertising. Includes a study of the role of advertising in modern society with emphasis being given to the extent and manner of use of advertising in mass media and digital media. Prerequisite: Sophomore Standing, at least a 2.5 cumulative GPA, completion of JOUR 10303 with a grade of C or better, and completion of either JOUR 10003 with a grade of C or better or completion of JOUR 11000 . (Typically offered: Fall and Spring)
