ACCT 35303 — Accounting Technology

This course provides an overview of accounting information systems and illustrates the importance of technology to accountants. Students are exposed to a variety of information technologies including manual, file-oriented, and database systems. The relative advantages and disadvantages of each type of system are highlighted and discussed. Prerequisite: ACCT 20203 with a grade of C or better. (Typically offered: Fall and Spring)
