ENTR3304 — Social Entrepreneurship

3 credits · 3 hours

The purpose of this course is to introduce students to notions of social innovation and social entrepreneurship, and discuss the extent to which contemporary societal challenges (e.g. energy, climate change, equity, gender justice, biodiversity, and pandemics) can be addressed through these means. As the traditional lines blur between nonprofit enterprises, government, and business, it is critical that business students understand the opportunities and challenges in this new landscape.
