ECE4304 — Developmentally Appropriate Assessment Techniques for Young Children

This course investigates normative and criterion-referenced approaches to the assessment of children’s progress. Consideration will be given to traditional and alternative methods of assessing a young child and the construction of instructional Goals; lesson plans and varied assessment approaches. Research and/or clinical experiences are required. Field Experience Requirements: Field Experience Requirements: Fifteen hours.
