AGRI4307 — Postharvest Physiology

Designed to outline the basic physiological and biochemical processes associated with senescence and storage conditions. Metabolic process in harvested products; stress in harvested products. The course covers factors affecting quality of fresh commodities in the field, storage, and in processing, covers the process of deterioration, protection of fresh commodities. Lecture: Lecture: 2 hours per week. Laboratory: Laboratory: 2hours per week.
