NURS 41563 - Population Health NURS 41563 - Population Health 3 Lecture Hour(s) The course emphasizes health promotion, risk reduction, and disease and injury prevention based on determinants of health. Concepts to be addressed include: lifestyle, genetic, economic, and environmental factors. The course will explore impact of local, national and global factors on health of individuals, communities, and populations. Clinical experiences include areas generally specializing in needs of the community health patient such as clinics and private offices, home health care agencies, outpatient centers, shelters, public schools, daycare and other various settings in the community.
