Explores various ethical guidelines that inform and guide the decision-making of nurses, including the framework of the American Nurses Association Code of Ethics. Emphasis is on the knowledge, skills, and attitudes included in the legal and ethical responsibilities of nurses in all aspects of care. Patient-centered care is explored from the perspective of advocating for the patient within the interdisciplinary team. Part of term course.
