It provides the knowledge, skills, and attitudes for competency that focuses on the role of the professional nurse in performing a comprehensive health history, physical, and psychosocial assessment. A variety of assessment tools and techniques are utilized. Further focus is on data collection and accurate documentation to communicate findings to the health care team.
