Exemplars illustrating expected processes and common problems occurring during childbearing will be used to facilitate students’ application of decision-making skills to prioritize care as multidisciplinary team members. Students will provide patient/family discharge teaching and implement original community teaching projects, further developing quality improvement and informatics skills. Laboratory experiences will occur in simulation, acute care, and community settings. Split Credit Hours: Two credit hours of theory. Two credit hours of clinical.
