Add to Bookmarks Two hours lecture. Three hours laboratory per week. Three credit hours. Was ECET 3360. A practice-oriented course emphasizes the use of sensors in instrumentation and control. Provides an understanding of the techniques of acquisition and manipulation of experimental and sensory data using computer hardware and software to build a coordinated and optimal automated system. Principles of process control using personal computers to provide an inexpensive solution for isolated or small-scale industrial process control are also discussed.
