PNUR 12197 - Medical/Surgical I PNUR 12197 - Medical/Surgical I UAFS Legacy Course Number: LPN 1217 Lecture, 4 Lab, 6 Clin all An eight week course that includes theory/clinical experience in nursing care needed by patients in acute or sub-acute, or convalescent stages of illness. Emphasis is placed on acute and chronic medical conditions and common surgical conditions including basic principles of first aid. Prerequisite: PNUR 11997 - Fundamentals II and BLS Certification - American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare Providers
