MUEN 14131 - Jazz Band MUEN 14131 - Jazz Band UAFS Legacy Course Number: MUSR 1411 PART all, Spring Provides training in performance of music from the jazz idiom. Both contemporary and traditional styles are explored with an emphasis on improvisation and proper stylistic interpretation. Students gain experience in performance and rehearsal techniques. Can be used as a large ensemble credit in the degree plan for students whose main applied lesson study is on guitar or piano; any other applied lesson study would need special department head permission. Guitar and piano students can also use MUSR 1421/3421 to meet large ensemble requirements.
