MUED 11032 - Music Education As A Profession MUED 11032 - Music Education As A Profession UAFS Legacy Course Number: MUSI 1102 Lecture all Provides the history, development, and social perspective of music education as well as an overview of the teaching profession. Explores the student’s motivation for teaching, provides an overview of music education and the UAFS teaching program, and addresses foundational management principles in K-12 music education. Various methods and experiences in both the elementary and secondary schools will be discussed. Prerequisite: music education major
