RSC 151 — Applied Respiratory Care II #

The second of four supervised clinical experiences to develop competency in performing prescribed therapy and basic mechanical ventilation, evaluating and monitoring patient responses to therapy and modifying the prescribed therapy to achieve the desired therapeutic objectives. Instruction, observation and ability to perform patient assessment, general respiratory care, intensive diagnostic procedures, artificial airway management, and basic management of noninvasive positive-pressure ventilation (NIV), continuous positive airway pressure (CPAP), bilevel positive airway pressure (BiPAP), and basic mechanical ventilation. (course fee required)

Prerequisites: RSC 122, RSC 128, RSC 135, RSC 141
