PHY 107 — General Physics (Electricity & Magnetism) ◊ #

Charge; electric field and potential; resistance, capacitance, and inductance; DC and AC circuits; magnetic field; laws of Gauss, Ampere, and Faraday; and Maxwell’s equations. The material is calculus-based with an emphasis on problem solving. (formerly General Physics (Electricity, Magnetism and Thermodynamics) (course fee required)
