The biotechnology field, laboratory techniques, applications, and bioethical considerations, which includes the metric system, solutions, spectrophotometry, bacteria culturing, gel electrophoresis, polymerase chain reaction, deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA) structure, recombinant techniques, quantitation, sequencing, and microarray. (course fee required)
